The Center for Integrative Learning and the Office of Sustainability are collaboratively tackling SUNY Geneseo’s 2022-23 Design Challenge! We look to address the question “How might we reduce single use plastics at SUNY Geneseo and in the Genesee Valley?”
To answer this big question, we recognize the need to observe it from different perspectives – that’s where The Individual, The Institution and Everything In-Between comes in!
We need our whole community to rally around this initiative, everyone addressing it in the ways they can have an impact: Individuals can shift to mindful behavior change, the institution can make bold commitments to policy change.
And the in-between? The in-between is all of our varying scopes of influence. What can you do in your residence hall, your student organization, or your academic department to tip the scale towards eliminating single use plastics?
